Effect of ChM1 on colony formation by HepG2 and HeLa cells. ChM1 not only reduced the number of colonies but also the size of colonies formed by HepG2 and HeLa cells. The effect of ChM1 on HeLa cells observed here is in stark contrast to its ineffectiveness on cells cultured on plates (Figure 2C). This results suggest that ChM1 suppresses anchorage-independent growth. Each point and bar represents the mean and SD (n = 3).
