Status of regions R2 and R3 in a representative normal donor and an AML patient. The R1 region has not been shown in this Figure. The R2 region is devoid of any cells for PBN, (a), BMN (c), PBAML (e) and BMAML (g). Consequently, the R3 region has no cells i.e., no detectable MRD in normal and the AML cases as shown for PBN (b), BMN (d), PBAML (f) and BMAML (h). PBN, BMN, PBAML and BMAML represent PB and BM from normal donor and an AML patient respectively.
