Lung CAFs and A549s were co-cultured at a 1:1 ratio. A549s were stained in to distinguish between the 2 different cells. Annexin V/PI flow cytometric analysis was performed after 48 h of treatment with cisplatin (10 μM) and pirfenidone (0.5 mg/mL). Data show an increase in dead cells (annexin V+/PI+) with combined treatment (CP) when compared to the control (Ctrl) in both cell types. *P < 0.05
