Stage distributions of gastric cancer among patients with different screening histories. Patients with gastric cancer detected by endoscopic and radiographic screenings were divided into 4 categories: (1) patients without screening history; (2) patients who had screening 1 year before diagnosis; (3) patients who had screening 2 years before diagnosis; (4) patients who had screening 3 years before diagnosis. Patients without screening history were included as well as individuals who had a screening history 4 or more years before diagnosis.
