Effect of beta-(1→3)(1→6)-glucan from yeast on the cytotoxicity of NK cells against breast cancer cell lines (2D). The figure shows the percent variation of cytotoxicity of NK cells against (A) MCF-7, (B) HCC1937, (C) MDA-MB-231, and (D) T47D with different β-glucan concentrations (0.1–1 − 10 and 100 µg/ml) after 48 h incubation compared with untreated cells (control) at an E:T ratio of 3:1. The cytotoxicity was measured from the ATP released from the target and effector cells using CellTiter-Glo® 2.0 Assay. The results were presented in three independent experiments.
